Antoine Flores, Pedro Melo, Luis Coelho and Patricia Aller are the members of Iberian Quartet. The group aims to making chamber music in order to share with the public their passion. In 2016, Antoine, Pedro and Luis meet in the “Academia Internacional de Saxofone” in Oporto, Portugal. After some days of masterclass and rehearsals, they realize that it’s an enormous pleasure to play together and they decide to begin a saxophone quartet project and look for the fourth member. It was not too difficult because Antoine knew Patricia, who studied with him in the same University. We proposed this project to Patricia and she accepted happily: this was the beginning of Iberian Quartet. Pedro and Luis, have studied at the Universidade do Minho with the teacher Luis Ribeiro; Antoine and Patricia, have studied in Musikene (High Music School of the Basque Country, Spain). Despite their paths, they pursue the same principle: get the same musical objectives through the communication and go deep into the musical analysis by the selection
of a varied repertoire. Iberian Quartet makes his debut in the Festival "XIII. Musikaldia 2017" in Arrasate Mondragón (Guipúzcoa, Spain), getting the warm welcome by the public with a varied and enjoyable repertoire. All the members usually attend masterclasses and they follow currently (or have followed) a wide music path.
