Silvia Nogales Barrios

She began her studies in 2005 with Manuel Muñoz at conservatories of Puertollano and Ciudad Real. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree of guitar in 2014, at the Rafael Orozco Conservatory of Córdoba with J.Riba. She also obtained a Degree in Music Education from UCLM and won an Extraordinary End of Career Award. She also studied the Master of Research and Music Innovation at UCLM, under the tutelage of the musicologist Juan José Pastor, and collaborates with CIDoM (Unit Associated with the CSIC). She is subsequently awarded a scholarship by the AIE to study at the ESMUC with guitarist Laura Young. She is currently studying a Master’s Degree at Liceo in Barcelona, with guitarist G. Pérez-Quer.
She has been part of different orchestras and ensembles such as Young European Orchestra (EGMYO) with which she records a CD in 2010. She has received clases in Spain and France with Ricardo Gallén, Leo Brouwer, Joaquín Clerch o Eliot Fisk, among others.
She created the new concerts proposals: Las Seis Doncellas de Juan Ramón Jiménez and Don Quijote, entre la voz y el deseo, playing at different places like Museum of Guitar (Almería), Auditorium Pedro Almodóvar (Puertollano), Chapel of Garcilaso de la Vega (Toledo), Concerts in a Festival Las Músicas de Cervantes, into activities because of IV Centenary of Cervantes, organized by CIDoM and Ministry of Culture.
In 2017 she was selected to participate in programs like MusaE, Eutherpe in León and International Festival of Piantón, among others. She also develops her teaching work in different places like Escola de Música of Barcelona and is sponsored guitarist by Guitarras Raimundo.
