Rocamora String Quartet

The Rocamora String Quartet formed in 2015 whilst studying their Masters at the Royal College of Music. Through collaboration as a quartet, they have combined their diverse musical background and worldwide heritage which originates from Latvia, Australia, Wales and Andorrà.

Throughout their studies, the members of the Rocamora String Quartet have led the RCM Sympyhony Orchestra in Mahler’s 9th Symphony at the Royal Festival Hall and Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Ballet with Vladimir Jurowski.

As soloists they have played recitals and performed worldwide in prestigious venues across Asia, Australia, Europe and USA.

As a quartet, they have collaborated with Artists from the Chamber Orchestra or Europe, and have reieved chamber masterclasses from Gabby Lester, Melissa Phelps, Susie Mészáros, Mark Messenger and the Sacconi Quartet.

Collectively they have taken part in the London Symphony Orchestra String Experience Scheme, BBC Symphony Orchestra Scheme and London Philharmonic Foyle Future Firsts Program. They also perform regularly with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Welsh National Opera and Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.
